Theater

In high school, I studied theater and was a member of the improv troupe. I love theater for the sense of community. I can be myself and take risks in a safe and supportive environment.

I regard the theater as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.

Desdemona in the Afterlife - actor

I played the angel/messenger in this visceral one-act play. Set in the realm of Purgatory, the all-female cast of Shakespeare's Desdemona, Emilia, Juliet, Lady Macbeth and Ophelia explore the roles women choose in their pursuit of love and self-identity. Scriptwriter: Nelly E. Cuellar-Garcia 2016
